I am a painter who focuses on natural forms. Trees, leaves, and
plants are what fascinate me, as well as how light affects both
the forms, and our perception of them. I frequently paint houses
and other man-made shapes, which live in the landscape, as we do.
Working in a standard landscape format, in close-up,
or in a somewhat abstracted format, I wish to bring the viewer into
my way of seeing these natural shapes.
Through oil paintings on canvas, pastel, encaustic
on panels, and monotype printmaking, I try to convey to viewers
my passion for the natural world.
